I totally loved this book and couldn't put it down. When it was finished I immediately downloaded the next one in the series. A fab compulsive read, with good hero/ heroine characters.

Blood and sand! They dont come more intense than Knight Sebring, oh he has totally got honours in the school of Alphamaleism without a doubt, he talks the talk and walks the walk! Frothy loins doesnt even come close! ...more

4 1/2 "All for Knight" Stars!
I think I like this book better the second time around. It's still 4 stars, but I don't think it is all that similar to FSoG after all. I loved Knight because of his very clearly communicate desires and expectations. He was also very reasonable when he need to be. I still like Anya a lot too. I'm so happy I did this re-read. Happy reading!

I am on the fence about this one. There were things I liked and thing I really, really disliked. I have heard such good things about Deacon I thought I would give this series a shot, I'm not sure what to do after reading this. ...more

Well, this isn't a "typical" KA book and while that my upset some readers, I actually enjoyed it being outside of the "KA box". I've said before that I believe that KA is EXCELLENT at writing the "Alpha Male Hero". If you need evidence, just reference Max, Tack, Shy, Tate, and now of course, Knight. I also think that KA's ability to balance out sex scenes in her books is phenomenal. She is able to "dirty" them up in the absolute best of ways, but add the sensuality when needed.

Knight has a lot of erotic sex scenes but just not much depth to the plot. I liked the characters okay but just didn't feel like there was enough going on in the storyline. The big, bad anti-hero falls in love with the good girl...lots of sex...just not enough tension or action developed in this book. I am a K.A. fan but this one is not high on my list.
