Every once in while you read a book that you know will stick with you for a long time. Before I Let Go is one of those books. All the 5 star reviews and other acclaims this book has received are well deserved. The story will make you feel every emotion that Yasmen & Josiah go through. It’s real, raw and beautiful.

All I can say is READ IT. I did listen to the audiobook which was absolutely phenomenal. The male narrator, Jakobi Diem, voice was gravely and so very yummy!

I should have noticed on that beautiful cover that CoHo loved that book. Should have been a sign.

I'm so disappointed in that book to be honest. I love second chances usually but this one let me down. I couldn't see the great love between the MCs. It wasn't shown, so we're left with broken divorcee who can't move on. I hated that Yas felt something only when Josiah started dating again, and the way around. You're telling me these two weren't together for two years but started noticing each other ...more

Kennedy Ryan never disappoints! You can expect hard topics, really gritty life issues and lots of family, love and steam in her stories. And Before I Let go includes all those things. I liked the unique approach to a divorced couple getting their second chance. Yasmin and Josiah were both amazing, separately and together. I could not love either of them more. This book shows a real look at overcoming tragedy, using therapy to work through real life issues like divorce, death of loved ones, etc. ...more

My friends mostly five starred this but I didn’t love it. It’s an ok story. I am not a fan of stories flashing back to the past, giving you a little info, then flashing forward again and then rinse wash repeat. Didn’t love Yasmen. Josiah was great though. Nice cast of characters except for the annoying teenage daughter.

I loved this book it was heartbreakingly beautiful. It was a love story, but even more it was a story about growth and restoration. I loved the family in this book and what a supportive unit they were. I liked that the characters seemed so honest, bare, and relatable. This definitely will not be my last read by Kennedy Ryan.
