This book picks up right where It Ends with Us left off.

Atlas and Lily finally have a chance at their long awaited HEA, but a few obstacles stand in their way.

Lily is trying to navigate her way through life, and she’s got a lot on her plate. She’s a single mother, a business owner, she’s working through co-parenting arrangements with her ex and she’s starting a new relationship with Atlas. Not only that, the after effects of Lily’s abuse is a factor and that definitely impacts Lily’s relations This book picks up right where It Ends with Us left off.

Not only that, the after effects of Lily’s abuse is a factor and that definitely impacts Lily’s relationship with Atlas.

Atlas’ life is also a bit complex. He has a successful career and has just opened his second restaurant. But an unexpected person pops up in his life and that creates some family drama he didn’t see coming his way.

As mentioned above, Ryle (the ex) is part of this story. He hasn’t gotten control of his anger and he’s a jerk during all of his scenes. There is one incident where he gets a little bit physical with Lily and she ends up asking for supervised visits for their daughter. He definitely needs to get some help, but it wasn’t his story so I was fine the author didn’t dwell on what he was or wasn’t doing to manage his anger.

I was so happy that I got to see Lily and Atlas as a loving adult couple. They shared life’s ups and downs and were there for each other through it all. They had a very healthy relationship and that was so important to highlight after what Lily went through. Atlas was swoony and dreamy in the first book, but he knocked it out of the park in this one. He was awesome and is the complete package - he’s definitely being added to my book boyfriend list. 🥰

I loved the story of Atlas and Lily. It was everything I wanted.
