I have started and stopped reading this book several times. I'm trying to clean-out the Kindle library and rid myself of so many "Unreads" -- so I held my nose and jumped in finally. Boy oh boy -- what a bad decision. This was not a book for me.

No, no, no -- just NO all the way around. I could not stand the male lead from start to finish. What a creepy sleazebag. The female lead brought some sympathy -- but for the most part was just a doormat that kept putting herself out there to be stomped on

I loved Moody! This author has a way with words that makes me forget that I’m reading and more like I’m part of the story.
I listened to some of this book on audio and loved the narration. A great listen!

I honestly don't know where to start, or what to say about this book.
It definitely wasn't what I was expecting.
Yes, it had funny moments, but there were a lot of serious moments as well.
I'm not going into detail, I'm going to be vague. Sorry, but I don't want to ruin, or give anything aways.
Dax and Wrent are both great. I understand why they "couldn't" take things further. Their hearts were in the right place.
Wren shows Dax that he does deserve love and that he is capable of loving others.
