“Brennan Walker had my heart in his hands from the moment I first walked into his Oval Office. There is a key to a part of my soul I never knew existed, and he holds that key inside himself.”
“You are my forever for always”

The book blurb explains it well.
There are some twists and turns and bad guys that need to be revealed. So it’s engaging and keeps the reader interested

This was super entertaining and I always love really flowery and pretty writing and the writing in this one really worked for me. I just had a lot of fun reading this book and it was super great, to me. I loved following along the character's adventures and their lives. But, I must admit I had some issues with how the French language was used in this book, but then again French is my first language so it probably was just a me thing.

I'm always amazed at Tal's White House stories. I always leave feeling like I got some sort of secret insider information.
It's not easy to do a gay President romance but this one was done well. A little insta, a little out there but a page turner for sure.

Don't get me wrong I liked the book. A lot but I hate flash backs. I want a book start at the beginning and move forward. The starting a book at the middle and flashing back as the timeline moves forward is not very enjoyable for me. The mystery was well done. I loved the two main characters and I so hope it is a series. I found it bit to much like his previous series though. Almost a subplanting and changing names to start a new series. But this works for the author. He writes wonderful politic

Magnificent
Breathtakingly beautiful language, heart wrenching emotions, and plot twists that made me gasp out loud. Stop everything and read this book.
Here’s the description of the president:
“Brennan is black lightning and blues, neon-soaked rain squalls, bayou midnights and creeping Spanish moss. He’s unknowable depths, flame-hot touches and bleu clair eyes. He’s the mystery, the moon rising in the west, the secrets written on bones and cast under dark stars.”

I don't know how this author does it, but every single book I've read by him is perfect. Great plot(s), strong characters, palpable energy leaping off the pages; twists and turns in perfect sequence combined with the written cadence is masterful. #DudeCanWrite
