Why have I never heard of this author?!! This story was so good. So much mystery, intrigue. So Vic is this mysterious guy, who has a bad past and has some emotional issues. His job is dangerous and thats all he wants to do , is his job. But after running into Macayla, well she runs into him haha they start having some feelings for each other. They both ignore these feelings tho. Macayla also has a son who has his own emotional problems and Vic understands and starts being more protective of him. ...more
