4 1/2 "Put in work" Stars!
I absolutely loved Arro and Mac. I'd been rooting for them from the very beginning of the series. They both had a lot of personal demons to overcome and what I appreciate most about this story was that they both put in the work to make themselves whole. Especially Mac. I completely adore this broken, protective, vulnerable, shield of a man. I appreciated Arro's resiliency and her ability to know when to put herself first and still show love for the people she cared so m ...more

4.5 “Mackennon” Kisses
Oooooomg! Just when I think the Adair Family Series cannot get any better – it does! I mean, I have been dyyyyyyying for Arro and Mac’s book since Robyn and Lachlan’s book…but still! These characters, the stories, the writing, just everything about these novels speaks to me and I love love love them to bits. I truly love everything Samantha Young is doing with this series – it's addictive and wonderful and I looooove the Adair’s so fli ...more

3.5 ☆
Once again the wrapping up of the plotlines felt extremely rushed as if they were once again nearly forgotten.
I liked the characters Mac and Arro but Arro tried too hard. Mac was giving mixed signals and was an absolute rat to her. He did grovel though not enough IMO.
A word about the family dynamics.
Mac is Robyn's father he was 16 when she was born. Mac is 44 to Robyn's 29. Lachlan is Mac's soon to be son in law and best friend. Mac has fallen in love with Arro who is a couple of years o ...more

Aw man.
I was nervous about this. I felt the setup that happened in the first two books was ok. I mean, I'm not the biggest fan of getting with someone's Dad but the author relentlessly, over and over and over again, reminded us that Mac was only 15 or 16 when he got Robyn's Mom pregnant which puts him still in his prime so to speak.
Interestingly enough, that isn't where this failed. Arrochar was insane with her pursuit of Mac based on the retelling of past events. Insane. And here, once Mac had ...more

I've been waiting for the story on Mac and Arrochar, in the prior two books, Young has hinted at their connect or relationship and I was not disappointed. Each character in the Adair family has fallen for someone connected to their partner, first the daughter of Mac, then Mac's daughters half sister and now Mac. Its one interesting family dynamics but the love is so real and so deep.
