When I first started this the beginning had me rolling my eyes. I stopped and jumped straight to Juniper Hill and after glimpsing Winn & Griff I decided to go back and try this one again. The second time around I was hooked and the beginning to middle where 4☆ then it seemed to awry. I think maybe at the time when Winn was reading the signs wrong and why was she even listening to that person? Admittedly... I waited too long to start this series. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. It's just such a good story. This book is prime example of why I love romantic suspense novels. They encompass so many things I love to read in a novel. This one specifically had the perfect mix of romance, plot, character development, smut, mystery, and intrigue.
