I’ve been waiting for this book for a while now, so I was thrilled when my friend Jill mentioned it was out. Of course, I dove into it right away and I was not disappointed. 
The story itself was just ok. Don’t get me wrong, I was interested in the haunted house and all the spooky things, but there was so much build up, I just felt a little let down. Re-Read 2024
Yes, the re-read of the first book prior to this definitely made it an easier read for sure. I was able to focus more on the goings on and less on what happened before.
This read though, I think there were some loose ends that I would have liked better explained but nothing too much that took away my enjoyment.
So, my review below stands and I'm off to read the The Sceptic so I'm fully prepared for book three.

So Blue's good for nothing father shows up with a proposition for him. Blue doesn't know him, or really anything about him, and thinks that he could get more information about his mother & to know his father. The proposition is to spend several days at a haunted house. Blue, Levi & Tom head to the house & they are in for a centuries old mystery. There were times that I was screaming for them to run & never look back.
