Almost a DNF at beginning as it does nothing but time jump the whole book. And that is one of my most hated things. But what a fantastic story. I can’t really call this a romance either.

When I started this book, I really, truly, wanted to like it. And I did, up until the 45% mark or so. I can't say anything about the writing. It's poetic, it's beautiful. The way it speaks to your heart can't be missed. And it did spell to my heart, but somehow, towards the end, it feels like nothing was resolved. Can I give more than 5 stars? Yes I can. This book was beautifully written and such a great story. I cannot recommend this book enough. I will be adding V.E. Schwab to my list of favorite writers.
