What Members Thought

Radd Reader
If you find yourself falling in love with me, don’t stop it. Don’t hold back. Don’t deny yourself that. Let yourself love me.”

My Thoughts: The following are my thoughts about this book:
General:
- Trigger warning-loss of a close friend. The heroine recently lost a close friend and she is still coping with her grief. This happened off page and is only mentioned to help the reader understand why the heroine is sad and struggling.
- Audio: N/A. I read the book
- Setting: Italy

Characters:

I connected so much with this story, I could not put it down. I'm usually not a slow burn lover but this worked for me. I admit I have not read this author since Experiment In Terror, not sure why, but I'm not sad I have TONS of her books to experience. Loved this !! 5 stars!! ...more

Halle is one of my top go to authors, she has a way with romance stories that just keeps me hooked and her characters are always flawed by flawless when it comes to being able to connect to them. She does is again with One Hot Italian Summer, not only did I love the romance and characters, but I fell in love with Italy a place I've never been too. This was a wonderful story that started with loss and following a woman's journey in finding herself again.

One Hot Italian Summer follows Grace, a my

I think I have settled on 4.5 stars for this one. I loved the setting of this story the most. I have read quite a bit by this author and she has such a great descriptive writing style that always seems to transport me to unique international settings and this book did not disappoint. With a beautiful Italian backdrop we see this romance slowly start to build through a mutual love of art between two very different types of artists. This is very much an opposites attract situation and a bit forbid ...more

Grace Harper is an author that has recently lost her best friend and writing partner. She’s having trouble writing her first book by herself. Her agent, Jana, offers her her home in Tuscany for the summer. The house is beautiful and Grace is happy to be there, hoping to get her writing mojo back. What she didn’t expect was the house being occupied by Jana’s ex husband, Claudio and their 11 year old son, Vanni.
Claudio is an artist from a wealthy family. He and Vanni are shocked to see Grace in th

When her writing partner dies, Grace is having trouble writing on her own. Her agent sends her to Italy where she thinks she's going to be spending a month alone, inspired by the Italian countryside and clearing her writer's block. Instead, she finds herself with her agent's ex-husband and their son, who have returned home early after their vacation plans are cancelled.

Karina has a way of telling a story that makes you feel like you're there with the characters in their travels. If you haven't
