A blind date mix-up on Valentine’s Day made for a cute meet-greet between these two. But after all the pre-publish hype, I was a bit disappointed. I wanted to love both Elena and Jack – but I didn’t quite get there. However, I did like them and thought this was a delightfully frolicsome, naughty and sexy sports-related romp!

Quick(ish) Review
Cute if pretty standard romance with a hero who has major trust issues. Frustrating knucklehead moves by the footballer hero, a nice but of course way hotter than she gives herself credit for heroine. It was a two steps forward three steps back kind of story and I was just done with that dance. But if that’s your jam, you may enjoy this.

Ilsa Madden-Mills is one of my favorite writers. I can always count on a great story, fantastic main characters and fun friends & family. All her books have gotten 5 stars from me. Not My Romeo is no exception. It was absolutely perfect.
Jack Hawke=💗 (Although, SPIDER, is in one of my top five book boyfriends!)

Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills delivers a smart and sexy contemporary romance about a smoking-hot professional football player and the small-town girl he can’t resist.
We start off with a lie on Valentine’s Day.
My blind date isn’t the studious guy I expected: he’s a drop-dead gorgeous player. Somehow we end up at his penthouse. I blame the gin and tonic.
The next day I learn he’s Jack Hawke—bad-boy professional quarterback with a murky past. The NDA he has me sign should ...more

This book was a great mix of fun, romance and a bit of angst. I loved the main character, Elena!! She was truly awesome and witty and once you thought that she fitted the stereotype of the nerdy virgin girl you were proved wrong!! Which is great.
The banter between Jack and Elena was gold. They both had issues to resolve and at first seemed the kind of people that could never be together, but they were exactly what each other needed. This story wasn't silly at all, it had several layers of depth ...more

Ilsa Madden-Mills did it again! Another hot and steamy page-turner that I just couldn't put down. I love sports romances and Jack and Elena's romance was absolutely delicious with so many scenes that made it impossible to stop reading. I stayed up late into the night to finish their story and it was so worth it! Highly recommended!

Wow this author does not disappoint, I loved this novel! This novel grabbed me from the very first chapter and did not let go until the very last. I just did not want it to end. I loved Jack and Elena. I loved their chemistry and watching them work thru their attraction to each other. I love when a novel can make me laugh out loud and leaves me with a smile on my face. This novel checked all of my boxes for me. I loved it and can't wait to see what is next.

LOVED IT!
Awesome read! I was able to read this quickly because Jack & Elena just sucked me in! Elena was strong and knew what she wanted from life. I appreciated Jack’s socially awkward quarterback because that’s not a combination you typically see in a sports romance. Again, loved it and can’t wait for Book 2!!

I enjoyed Jack and Elena's story.
I love how my ideals or maybe stereotypes where challenged. I was expecting shy, socially awkward heroine, and over-confidant, jock hero. I was completely wrong.
Elena was no shy shrinking violet, but she did have the southern hospitality and other southernisms down to a T. Jack was not not your ordinary sexy jock. His past with his mom and ex lead to his mistrust in people and relationships.
They had the best meet cute, and neither realized that fate had plans ...more
