What Members Thought

3 1/2 "Rock Chicks Take Two" Stars!
This was good. Especially if you're a Rock Chicks fan. I think these may go in similar fashion. However! I did think Evie was much smarter than say...Indy, so I think there may be less silly shenanigans. Danny is of course a hot alpha but sweet to his lady. I'm sure I'll read the other books to come. It was really good to see all the old RC characters. Happy reading! ...more

3.5 STARS!
You know that saying, ‘you can’t improve on perfection’ well in my opinion this was the case with this story. Don’t get me wrong this is totally KA, but to me it was like listening to one of the rock chick stories but not as good.
I think because I enjoyed the majority of the Rock Chick series this just fell short.

So here's the deal.
Early fans of Kristen Ashley love her books. There's a reason for that - they're wild, filled with feisty women and OTT men who don't really exist in real life. The Rock Chick series has scenes that are so wild, they're unbelievable, yet, they're totally believable with this group.
Then KA gives us the Dream Man series, and again, unrealistic reality.
This book returns to KA to the style of writing, the types of characters, and the scenes that many of us fans first fell in lo ...more

5 Stars!
Kristen Ashley is the queen of romance (in my book anyway) and this series kicks it old school... taking us back to that Dream Man and Colorado Mountain series vibes and y'all I was HERE FOR ALL OF IT! Epic in every single way that there is and I can't wait for more!
I highly recommend this book. ...more
