I loved this. I don’t really even know how to review this. You either love this authors writing or you don’t. She is fearless on what she puts down on paper. This is dirty and raunchy and I ate it up. Hunter in Angry God and Broken Knight seemed like this easy going quiet, behind the scenes guy. In this we find out that couldn’t be farther from the truth. It seems like every inner thought or word that comes out of his mouth is just one sexual innuendo after another. I found him hilarious. I cou

I like lists and I’m feeling listy so that is what I shall do..
1. ....that cover..🔥👅💦
2. I read this book for two reasons: the cover 🙂 and because the heroine is Troy and Sparrow’s daughter (my favorite Shen book).
3. Hunter is an unapologetic manwhore. That becomes obnoxiously obvious in maybe the first paragraph.
4. A reader will need to suspend reality a bit to enjoy this book. Personally, sometimes I enjoy books that are nothing like my life and with events that would never happen in real life ...more

This book was amazing. LJ Shen knows how to write angsty, gripping stories.
I loved being able to learn more about Hunter from the All Saints High series. She also did a tie in with her book Sparrow. It was amazing to see all the characters I already loved in a new setting and story line.
I think this was a wonderful launch to the Boston Belles series.
Hunter was just so loveable and amazing. He is a perfect book boyfriend.
Sailor was a fiesty and strong heroine. She was unapologetically herself a ...more

I went in blind and was pleasantly surprised with Hunter. Many may find his language uncouth but I'll just go ahead and say to ignore them if you enjoy good banter and dirty jokes.

Hunter was hilarious. I cracked up the whole time and soooo looked forward to his chapters the most. Sailor was ok. I liked her and she has a backbone, which is what I respect the most in book characters so she's cool. I haven't read anything else by L.J. Shen but will definitely be checking her other books out. ...more

I am usually a big lover of LJ Shen's a$$holes...but this one was a bit much.
I did not find much redeemable about this one. ...more
