What a disturbing yet gripping read. I was horrified the whole time while reading this amd yet I coukdn't stop.
My only critique is that the book is way longer than it should be. The last third dragged on and was extremely repetitive and I feel like it didn't add that much to Vanessa's story.
Also I really wish the book ended otherwise. I feel like we got no closure but maybe that's the point? That sometimes life is fuxked up and there is no happy ending for the victims? ...more
