When I finished Gypsy King, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Riven Knight. I had a million and one questions about Isaiah and Genevieve and couldn’t wait to find out my answers…

Riven Knight picks up right where Gypsy King left off and took my heart for one wild, heart-breaking ride. Riven Knight follows the story of Genevieve and Isaiah. At first glance, their situation appears to be nothing more than a marriage of convenience, a lie. But there is so much more to Genevieve and Isaiah’s story than meets the eye. They did what they did keep each other safe and to hopefully put some ghosts to rest. But, what they didn’t count on was the very real danger Genevieve would be put in. They didn’t count on their walls being shattered and for feelings to stir. Will Isaiah be able to keep Genevieve safe? Will Genevieve break through Isaiah’s walls and bring him back to life? Will Genevieve ever find out who murdered her mother? Those questions and many more will be answered in Riven Knight.…

Riven Knight is a well written and heart-breaking story. This book hits the ground running and never looks back. The characters are real and flawed and perfectly imperfect. Their story-line is captivating and will have you begging for more. There is romance. There is drama. There is danger and action. There are shocking twists and turns that will leave you hanging on every word. Riven Knight was everything I wanted, needed and then some. This book isn’t just a love story. It is a story of family. A story of hope. A story of forgiveness and revenge. Genevieve and Isaiah were both broken and hurt by their pasts, and I for one couldn’t help but root for these two to find their happily ever after.

There’s not much else to say about Riven Knight other than I loved it. From beginning to end, I just loved it. I had the best time getting swept up in Genevieve and Isaiah’s story and can not wait to see what Devney Perry has in store for us next.
