I am a bit of a book snob. Once a book is popular, talked about everywhere, I’m not really interested in it. That is why I put off reading this for so long, way too much hype.

I am glad I ended up picking it up this week (from the library on Libby app). I fell in love with Kya, I understand the why people felt so gravitated to her story.

4.5 stars. Not as fast paced, suspenseful and twisty as the books I normally enjoy but instead easy going and thoughtful, for a murder story.
I feel like the author knew where our minds would go when we read and led us exactly there giving us the suspicions and twist we expected.
