Another great installment from Pepper Winters. The writing is flawless, evocative, emotive, and full of that angsty...why am I loving this when I know I shouldn't...kind of feel Gil had a rough past and his present is no better. As far as tortured heroes go, he's right up there with the best of them. I really enjoyed Gil's character.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I'll be honest, the beginning back and forth was really hard to get through but I kept on since this is Pepper Winters and I love her writing (at least most of the time)! So after most of half the book I started to like it and close to the end really liking it. What a way to end the book though....hate cliffhangers and I'm glad I waited until the second book was out. ...more

I should have listening to my gut to not read this book so soon after it published. I should have wait, at least for a few months. Ga tau mau ngomong apa lagi. Yang jelas, sepanjang baca buku ini, rasanya pengen nabokin dan nendang kedua tokoh utamanya bolak balik. Tarik ulur nyaris sepanjang buku. Dari awal sampai akhir.
