I skipped quite a bit of this book, a lot of the story seemed to be unnecessary to me, it was sort of disjointed and the jumping from before to after and back again was annoying me.
there was very little time spent for on page relationship between Simon and Matěj, Marta gets more attention than the relationship does. maybe this wasn't meant to be a romance because it didn't feel like one for most of the book.
I do enjoy the authors quality of writing though and that made the story more bearable ...more
