Absolutely terrific book! If you are looking for a chick lit / contemporary type read, I highly recommend this. I loved the characters and pretty much everything about this book.

Anna is offered a job to tutor TJ over the summer in the Maldives. While flying there the pilot suffers a heart attack and their plane goes down. Anna and TJ make it to a deserted island where they must try and survive. After many years on the island they begin to have a connection.

With a different plot and amazing characters that are evolving chapters after chapters, I was never bored while reading On The Island. Well done!

With serious eye-rolls I had to put this book away, I just couldn't take it anymore.
Having sat on my TBR shelf for almost 3 years I finally sat down with this book only to be quickly disappointed with it. The ridiculousness of every situation the MCs were in was almost to the point of unbelievable. The heavy foreshadowing the first couple of chapters, the ease at which their problems were solved, items that they needed for survival just magically appearing at the best time. I had to st ...more
