This is a standalone. And this is a tough review for me to write. I usually love Lauren Blakely’s books. But this one just didn’t do it for me.
While I liked Leo and Lulu, I just wasn’t connecting with them. I felt like I was missing a while lot of backstory. Especially where Tripp was concerned.
I know I’m probably in the minority with my opinion, and that’s fine.
This is very well written. The characters are great. I really liked them both.
But, like I said, it was missing something for me.
