This is totally on me. Everybody else in the Buddy Read loved it, I just couldn't get into it. I should also mention that I am not into friends to lovers trope at all.

Please go by other reviews. I think I am just being McGrumpypants!! ...more

4 Sweet Stars!

It’s no secret that I adore R.S. Grey’s writing and when it comes to romantic comedies, she is my go-to. So, when I heard about Not So Nice Guy, of course I had grabbie hands and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. And let me tell you, once I got my hands on this book, I devoured it. I just couldn’t get enough of Ian & Sam.

From the moment we meet up with Ian & Sam, you can tell these two were going to be special. They were best frien 4 Sweet Stars!

It’s no secret that I adore R.S. Grey’s writing and when it comes to romantic comedies, she is my go-to. So, when I heard about Not So Nice Guy, of course I had grabbie hands and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. And let me tell you, once I got my hands on this book, I devoured it. I just couldn’t get enough of Ian & Sam.

From the moment we meet up with Ian & Sam, you can tell these two were going to be special. They were best friends and everything to one another. If you didn’t know better, you would have assumed they were a couple, that’s how perfect they are together. It’s just so easy and effortless. That is until one day, Sam lets the cat out of the bag that she & Ian are not a couple. That delicious news was like open season. And this news makes Ian realize that if he wants a true shot with Sam, now is the time before someone else gets her….

I gotta say, if there is one thing I just adore, it’s friends to lovers romances. And when it comes to Sam & Ian, I just couldn’t get enough of the two of them. They were so perfect for each other and it was so incredibly cute watching them trying to figure things out. I laughed and smiled so much while reading Sam & Ian’s story. They were so playful and sweet with each other. And Ian was the perfect guy: Sweet, Attentive, and boy can he make you swoon. Add in a touch of naughty and these two will have you furiously turning the pages.

Not So Nice Guy was not what I was expecting at all. It was playful, sweet and just an overall good time. i love how these two crushed on one another for years, but never said anything. Their chemistry and amazing friendship lead to some seriously hot tension and delicious sexy good times. I loved the realness of Sam & Ian. Sam had insecurities just like anyone else and didn’t want to lose what she had with Ian. And I just loved how sure Ian was of everything. He knew that he and Sam were destined to be together, so watching them fall was a total joy to see.

Not So Nice Guy is the kind of book that just leaves a smile on your face. It’s like sunshine on a cloudy day. If you’re in a bad mood, this book will fix you right up. It’s so fun and sweet, you just can’t go wrong. So, if you’re looking for a fun, light read with little drama and a whole lot of sweet, look no further, Not So Nice Guy is just what the doctor ordered. It is the perfect summer read. I hope you will take a chance on Not So Nice Guy and will fall in love with Ian & Sam just as I did.
