4 3/4 "You carried me." Stars!
I loved this story. It felt really true to life (in a great coincidences romance novels kind of way) to me. Really bad stuff happens in life, but life goes on and really great stuff can happen too.
I absolutely loved both Poppy and Cole. Cole's last name was Goodman;and that was exactly what he was- a good man. So patient, kind, understanding, funny, authoritative, but not jerkish. And definitely not a pushover. He was not only good book boyfriend material, he was ...more

4.5 Minute by Minute Stars
This book was not exactly what I expected-it was so much more. I thought I would be a crying, slobbering mess, but I was far from it. For me, it was a beautiful and uplifting story about overcoming a devastating loss and learning to live again, minute by minute.
After suffering a devastating heartbreak, Poppy Maysen is determined to finish her husband’s birthday list. A random list he put together of adventures, both big and small, to complete every year before his next ...more

This was my first read by this author and I really enjoyed it. A great slow burn romance. One of the best I've read of this type of character storyline. Well written and edited. I was pulled into the story from the very beginning and never lost interest. I would recommend this book and I look forward to reading more by Ms. Perry.

This is by far my favorite Devney Perry book! So sweet and yet so heartbreaking. As if losing the love of your life isn’t hard enough, Poppy takes on the painstaking task of finishing her late husband Jamie’s birthday list. She is determined to finish it within one year, but some things on the list will have her facing her fears and others will require more strength than she can handle. Insert Cole: the man who delivered the devastating news of her husband’s death and a reminder of the moment th
