5+ Bork Bork Stars!!

Karina has done it again. I wasn't sure how she would top her last release, but she did with this swoon worthy Prince who finds his future queen while hiding out in a small remote town. Maggie is full of strength and her siblings add to the story. Callum steals the show many times, but Viktor is a true Royal hero.

So many great lines and quotes...I've highlighted the heck out of this book!! ...more

I actually really enjoyed the story, but the pacing just killed me. It was way too slow for my liking.

2 'there is seriously cow on ice' Stars

Este livro é inspirado no filme Roman Holiday com Gregory Peck e Audrey Hepburn, e apesar de nunca ter visto o filme, já tinha entrado no mundo desta série, quando li o 3º volume, por isso, quis agora aventurar-me pela família real sueca. Mas infelizmente não gostei do livro e foi doloroso conseguir terminá-lo (só o fiz para usar o livro num desafio).

Príncipe da Suécia está a passar por uma má fase e tem direito a um mês de férias por terras americanas para 2 'there is seriously cow on ice' Stars

Mas infelizmente não gostei do livro e foi doloroso conseguir terminá-lo (só o fiz para usar o livro num desafio).

Príncipe da Suécia está a passar por uma má fase e tem direito a um mês de férias por terras americanas para espairecer. É aí que conhece a empregada de hotel Maggie e a partir daqui passam a ser um casal que tenta ser normal mas é tudo menos isso.

Para mim tem imensas coisas que me irritaram profundamente:
- insta-love
- a Maggie que tem ao seu encargo os seus irmãos menores, mas li-a sempre como alguém a cuidar da família como um fardo e nem é a adulta que devia de ser para situações importantes;
- o Viktor nem pensa como alguém que foi criado para pensar no bem estar do seu povo, quando sugere que a Maggie tire dias de folga ou vá de férias até à Suécia;
- ela aceita tudo muito bem e vai dando pistas que sabe como é a vida dos príncipes do Reino Unido e respectivas mulheres, e depois tem o desplante de ficar ofendida quando os paparazzi, os reis da Suécia ou o povo sueco, olha para ela como que a julgá-la;
- o Viktor deixar que ela seja apresentada aos pais (reis) assim como o rei da Noruega sem lhe explicar o mínimo de como se comportar em publico;
- depois nunca percebi qual a lógica de levá-la para a Suécia e depois os irmãos dela sem lhe explicar quais as suas intenções futuras (como se alguém que tem a seu encargo 5 familiares fosse para ter uma relação à distância ou em períodos de férias...);
- a família dela aceitar tão bem a vida na Suécia com tiradas deste género: “Look, I don’t like my photos being taken all the time but I don’t know, it’s kind of fun. Makes me feel like a celebrity. I’ll deal with all of that for a chance at a new life. Don’t you think we all deserve a do - over ?”
- E razão deste casal estar junto está aqui, dito pelo próprio Viktor: I swear it’s creating a bit more distance between us than before. We connect on so many levels, but we communicate best with our bodies. I need to be inside her, need to feel that contact, that love, that desire.

Complemente aborrecida e muito, muito elaborada esta história, mesmo que seja ambientada pelo mundo da realeza, podia ser mais realista.
