Re-Read, 2024
I absolutely loved the first book, but this one, well, I have officially fallen head over heels in love with Ty and Zane, HEAD OVER HEELS. No stopping, moving right on to the next one.

Things should be peachy keen. Things should be blissful. Things should be fan-freaking-fantastic. Sadly, they are not.
Special Agent Grady and Special Agent Garrett are reunited, but regrettably with unforgiving and unwanted company.
Ty and Zane are covering each other’s ass again *wink* and are trying to clear their heads, shake it off, and get the green light to head back to the field. Haunted by the past, doubting their ability to protect each other ...more

Ok, first and foremost, Goodreads is NOT LETTING ME ADD TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW...So, I'm reviewing a different edition in hopes this will work.

That. That is why this series is one of my absolute favorites of all time. Where my re-read of the first one, well, I had just a few issues, this one, this one is exactly why Ty and Zane get all the stars and will rank in the top, always.

“You’re okay,” Zane said quietly but clearly. “Just focus on me for a few minutes. What’s the first thing that comes to mind?” While talking, he was gently wiping away the blood.
Ty blinked at him, opening his mouth as he thought the very first thing that came to mind when Zane prompted him. I love you. He snapped his mouth closed and stared at Zane, unable and unwilling to answer.

How can 2 guys possible find so much trouble? I mean really, two FBI agents nit even working and crap finds them. I gotta say I love these guys. They are perfect for each other, and besides the drama that adds to the story line this book totally leaves me with a warm fuzzy feeling heart. Even the brother who is a shrink is awesome. I hope we see more of him. Looking forward to the next.
Still enjoying Ty & Zane but again the fighting is a little over the top. Wish they would just tell each other exactly how they feel about each other & move on from there.

These guys can't even go on vacation to visit family without ending up nearly dead with a side order of relationship drama. I mean who takes a vacation hike in the Appalachian Mountains only to run into psycho treasure hunters, floods, and mountain lions. I really like Ty and Zane. They are dysfunctional at its best. Ty's family is hysterical. Mixed in with all the crazy is some great back story/ insight into Ty. Really looking forward to the next book in the series
