Olivia "Livvy" Barton is a woman of means but her financial security doesn't insulate the pain when her fiancé mysteriously vanishes. Using available resources, Livvy hires a man to escort her to Colombia to obtain answers. With parts of the country ravaged by natural disasters, Livvy must rely on her escort to provide a safe passage but she cannot be shielded from what is to come.

Mia Sheridan writes some great romantic suspense. Having read pretty much all of her books I expected a lot more of an angsty/emo read, and whilst Seek brought the emo in the second half of the book it wasn't as heavy as her Signs series. That said, I didn't miss the angst/emo because she nailed the suspense bit. The plot was fast paced with twists and turns that kept me reading and not wanting to put the book down.

Loved both characters hard, even though Livvy sort of pulled an idiot move at 70%

This books was so unexpected! The twist and turns were something that I didn't see coming! Mia Sheridan brought us a suspenseful edge of your seat thriller that I was totally sucked in to. I love going into books blind and this book is why! I did not anticipate the story unfolding as it did. Seek is a book I would recommend for those looking for a thriller or a book they can read quickly.
