I really liked Axel and Caxton's story but it didn't quite measure up to In Front of God and Everyone. I'm not a fan of the old push and pull trope and whilst I get why Cax kept on pushing Axel away he really hurt him each time he did it, and that hurt me.
That said, once again the author gave me a book full of feels with characters that I really liked and eventually (in Cax's case) ended up loving once he grew a pair and decided to fight for a life.
