I know this isn’t my normal type of read, but I read book 1, The Bird and the Sword, last year and I absolutely loved it. When The Queen and the Cure was released, I was surprised and excited to go back to the land of Jeru.

This story reminded me of the movies I watched as a kid and I once again transported to faraway lands and a time where people had magical powers. They had to battle creatures from land, sea and the air. Of course, there was the old Good vs. Evil.

Beautiful, heart-breaking yet heart-warming with a twist that I wasn't a fan of but the twist made it unique.
