Oh, Baron "Vicious" Spencer, you are an asshole I can't help but love. The tortured relationship between Vicious and Millie was a great story. I couldn't get enough. From their teenage years wondering why he hated "Help" so much to their adult years and seeing them pick up right where things were left 10yrs earlier.

Millie was one of my favorite heroines I've ever read. She was forced to move across the country, by Vicious, and start a new life broke and alone. She did it though. Of course, she ...more

This book was one that I wish I hadn't liked as much because Vicious was a complete and total asshole, and even though you understand why he is the way he is and you are able to see through some of his hard exterior to the good and kind person he was before some events during his childhood happened, it was still hard to swallow all of his dickish actions. This book was hard to rate. I found it hard to put down and even though I never warmed up to Vicious, his character drew me in. I guess my head was kind of spinning from some things he did that were almost caring. The end was interesting and I am glad how things worked out. I guess I have read 'damaged' H's that actually groveled and I don't know... became redeemed more believably.
I will probably look into future books in this series - if I can get them on ku, like I did this one. ...more

This book kept me interested all the way through, I enjoyed reading it. I would have given it another star if Vicious wasn't such an unlikable character, he was a total douchebag through 90% of the book. ...more

Ohh Vicious you arrogant asshole you why did you captivate my heart?. If you love an unapologetic, no shit taking hero then this is the book for you. Another great series.
