I've been reading the Dark Protectors in random order as they show up with promo prices. The relationship development between the hero and heroine is the strongest part of the narrative, both believable and hot. As with the others in the series, I find too much page time devoted to a 'too cute' child who is some kind of chosen one. The big stumbling block for me though are the villains. Okay. I have read this one before (I guess I haven't reviewed it yet though) but anyway. I've already read this one a while ago. ***And spoiler! Turn away for a minute*** you definitely see how hey have grown between this book and hen the novella Talen at the end of Wicked Burn. Holy crap have they grown.
