I loved this, what a fantastic start to a series. Loved both main characters and am so keen to read the rest of the brothers books just from meeting them in Fated.

A fast paced story with world building that was pitched to perfection, enough to keep the story moving forward without overwhelming the reader. There was no drama for drama's sake, no ex drama and although there was a little TSTL moment it sort of was necessary to the story so it didn't bother me at all.

Quite awlful. I cannot stand the h at all...

The world building is pretty interesting and I like the concept of the vamp brothers and shifters, the virus and totally evil bad camps, but I think it is more or less the only thing I like and I am sorely disappointed.

The h is simply...urgh, I don't even know how to express my disgust except that this is the one h that has every disgusting attribute I don't want to read about. She is supposedly a loving mother, but for most of the book she seems fine Quite awlful. I cannot stand the h at all...

She is supposedly a loving mother, but for most of the book she seems fine to be away from her kid (she protests, sure, but if it matters so much I really would think she would have stood firm?) There really is something seriously wrong with her head. She cannot fight worth anything but got pissed if H doesn't let her into action (and become a liability time and again for all). She also thinks herself some sort of superheroine or whatever and jumps out to save the day and again managed to get herself nearly killed hurt and worst. She then has the gall to get pissed at H for getting pissed by her utterly certifiable actions. Argh kill me already. tstl does not even describe her. She also avoids and runs whenever she doesn't want to face up to some truths. These include her feelings for the H and her own innate ability. Whenever something deemed unpleasant like a heart to heart attempt, a realisation, comes up, she either thinks about running (even knowing baddies are around) or got fakely pissed and confrontational so H will be pissed and misdirected to engage her fav pasttime, sex, with her. She got scared by the H, but kept getting turned on. This doesn't seem like a right in the head woman. Seriously she has tons of issues to work through if the only time she can back down is after H coercing her with sex.

H is not a likable person either, which is surprising as he is the standard alpha with a mine mine mine mentality. He really doesn't explain a darn thing to h, and contributed partly to the whole problem. I don't even understand why he has to keep h and kid apart for close to 1.5 months for him to raid or whatever. The whole not explaining about the relationship clearly (though I think he did try, but again h is just so annoying not listening that he probably thinks it's not worth the effort...) led to the final cray cray confrontation that should not have happened at all.

This book just seriously pissed me off. The premise is good but the h is just acting so cray cray like a nympho with ups (everything in the world is fine after sex) and downs (when H is away doing his job and hence no sex) that it drives me cray cray too. Power sex seems to be the only way this couple knows to stoo their arguments and differences, and most times they don't even get resolved, but forgotten. The whole plot should be excitoming with danger abound, but the reason these come abotmut because of h's total irrationality to save the world with nothing armed but a pair of dainty hands makes it ridiculous and irritating.

There is a lot of hard grinding, grunting i am so scared of you my panties are all dripping wet sex, but the two hardly have any meaningful conversation, just tons of you are mine, no i have no brains and am just gonna be confrontational for confrontation's sake, so get pissed and have sex with me already! Argh! The whole I love you scene is so meh I was just surprised it came about and more so that both seem just placidly accepting about it.

I don't think I can continue on with this series as I think the next few h might be just as bad... ...more

Loved every moment.

Okay. I have read this one before (I guess I haven't reviewed it yet though) but anyway. I've already read this one a while ago. ***And spoiler! Turn away for a minute*** you definitely see how hey have grown between this book and hen the novella Talen at the end of Wicked Burn. Holy crap have they grown.
