What can you say about a Colleen Hoover book? They're all a little different, but you can basically count on one thing. A-N-G-S-T.

This book we have plenty of damaged individuals. We have romance. And suspense. The book wasn't as bad as Verity, but not as good as November 9. Still much better than any other author at the craft. ...more

This is the first book I've read by Colleen Hoover and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The main characters were a bit young for my reading tastes, but I got past that quickly. Great plot, interesting, realistic situations and great writing made this a page turner for me. Asa is one of the most interesting characters I've come across in a long time. Great book! ...more

Ugh this is hard to rate!! I was totally sucked in to the story but I was uncomfortable with some things- like almost too dark and depressing for my tastes at the moment. I am like more sad and mad at Sloan than I respect her but heck it feels like she is real!!
Asa is a character that I can't even come up with a word for - that can explain how I feel about him. Colleen Hoover proves she is brilliant, again. One of the most interesting characters I've read about in a while. (the coconut cake!?!)
