3.25 RATING- I did not care for how Daisy was written in the novella and the 22 uses of the word "coochie" when describing her vagina left me wanting to throat punch someone. This was not cute! It was distracting, ridiculous, and frustrating!
Marcus was lovely. A gentleman in every respect (besides that side biz thing he's got going on). The writing was better than expected when compared to KA's more recent flops. Nothing great but readable. I just couldn't get over Daisy. She could have been w ...more

I really liked it. I have a soft spot in my heart for Kristen Ashley, I admit it. I’ve read all her books, from best to not-so-best, and this is possibly the first novella I’ve ever seen her publish. I think this works as an additional postscript to the series (the epilogue would be too spoiler-ish if you haven’t read the whole series IMO). Yes, all the KA-speak and overuse of certain words (*shudders at the thought of coochie*) is present, and the formula is a bit frayed. That said, I teared up ...more

Loved finally getting to hear Marcus and Daisy's story, but the overuse of one word kept taking me out of the book.

Rarely do novella's evoke the myriad of emotions I felt while reading Rock Chick Reawakening. Maybe it's because the Rock Chick Series was how I feel in love with Kristen Ashley. Maybe it's because I was so in love with the series, the characters, the story that this ended up being the perfect homecoming. While heartbreaking in so many ways, it's also beautiful.
Daisy and Marcus's story is one that most of us Rock Chick fans have been begging for. Daisy is one of those characters that leaps o

The perfect fairytale ending.
I preordered this book as soon as it was listed. KA is my favoritest favorite author (grammatically incorrect but it's my review) and I knew that I could not miss this for anything. I counted down the days, then the hours. But on the day it downloaded I couldn't bring myself to read it yet. Why? Because this was the last in the series (even though it's a prequel) and I was so incredibly excited but yet sad also. I wanted to savor Daisy and Marcus' story not devour h ...more

This was epic! The ending totally leaves you feeling like your bestie finally got hers and you're so happy for her that you're grinning so hard your face hurts.

Daisy
I always wanted the back story of Daisy and Marcus, knew it would be a story. Glad KA didn't disappoint. Could have done without the coochie reference throughout the book but other than that no qualms. Nice epilogue and it was all nice and tidy. A few laughs, a few sniffles and a lot of happiness. ...more

Finally Daisy!
So consider me biased but I'm partial to KA books. I love all of her stories and I've always wondered about the story behind Daisy and Marcus. I'm so happy with the story Kristen Ashley gave us I now feel complete. If you've never read KA I think you are missing so much goodness. If this is your first and you want to read more, I say buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life. ...more
