I think too many people are taking this book too seriously. Its a great trashy romance not a classic. Take it for what it is and enjoy it as a good summer read, a beach book. I read all three books during a beach vacation...just a lot of fun!

I see no reason to re-invent the wheel. This book has been very well reviewed from every possible angle. Which of the many camps am I in then? Frankly it is not a romance. This book does not have a HEA. The series may but the book does not.

This is definitely a guilty pleasure read. I've read my share of fan fiction and you can definitely see hints of the story that inspires this.
The sex scenes aren't shy and quite plentiful as any good fanfic usually is. It's not the greatest but I must say what kept me reading this was how intrigued I was with Christian. He is so clearly a damaged bad boy and I definitely have a weakness for a damaged bad boy. As Ana (and subsequently the reader) delve deeper into Christian's life, and you start ...more

I have to admit, when I asked my friend to lend me this book out of curiosity, I was a little blah about it. Most of my friends outside of my country (I am Italian), had told me this book was too bad and stupid. Okay, this wasn't a great literature piece because I think it is more like a fan fiction for die-hard fan girls like myself, but it was really enjoyable, and therefore - because I am a fan gurl of the genre, BDSM apart - I really liked to read this book and thought maybe my international

I haven't written a full blown review for any book and I dont intend to do it for this one either but I have to say this book is HILARIOUS! I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It's terribly cliche and the girl did remind me of Bella Swan in the sense that I couldn't stand her thoughts...in the exception that I thought she would be more mature but she wasn't...and Christian is an idiot. He could probably figure out everything else about her but he couldn't see that she was "in love" with him

Such a good book, aside from the erotic scenes, the relationship between them is easily relate able if you have ever been in a confusingly negative relationship. Her emotions towards him, and her inability to decipher his emotions is one of the best parts of the book. There are twists at every corner, you never really know what will be on the next page. For anyone who likes to read about intricate relationships between people, I highly recommend.
