I think too many people are taking this book too seriously. Its a great trashy romance not a classic. Take it for what it is and enjoy it as a good summer read, a beach book. I read all three books during a beach vacation...just a lot of fun!
I gave into peer pressure when I decided to read this book, and I am so glad I did. From the moment Ana stumbles into Christian's office until the very last page I was hooked. It is not a genre I normally read but sometimes you need a wake up call, and Fifty was mine. I REALLY ENJOYED THE STORY OF ANASTASIA STEELE AND CHRISTIAN GREY. EVEN THOUGH ANA IS REALLY INSECURE AND CLUMSY ANBOUT HER DESCISON ON HER RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRISTIAN SHE TRIES TO GET MORE FEELING OUT OF HIM, BUT IS UNABLE TO. CHRISTIAN IS THE OPPOISITE AND JUST WHANTS TO DO WHATEVER HE CAN TO ANA AND TRIES TO UNDERSTAND HER IN A WAY THAT SHE ONLY FINDS OUT THROUGH HIM. E.L. I haven't written a full blown review for any book and I dont intend to do it for this one either but I have to say this book is HILARIOUS! I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It's terribly cliche and the girl did remind me of Bella Swan in the sense that I couldn't stand her thoughts...in the exception that I thought she would be more mature but she wasn't...and Christian is an idiot. He could probably figure out everything else about her but he couldn't see that she was "in love" with him

WOW! Talk about being consumed by a story. I read it in a day and a half.
Ana and Christian's relationship is so dangerous, passionate, sweet, and unhealthy, all at the same time. You really want it to work one minute and the next you're thinking Ana should run, how can it possibly work when Christian is so broken. The more that's revealed about Christian, the more you see how incredibly messed up he is. This is a profound love story: disturbing, haunting, chilling, and incredibly intriguing.

Such a good book, aside from the erotic scenes, the relationship between them is easily relate able if you have ever been in a confusingly negative relationship. Her emotions towards him, and her inability to decipher his emotions is one of the best parts of the book. There are twists at every corner, you never really know what will be on the next page. For anyone who likes to read about intricate relationships between people, I highly recommend.
I am giving this more than ten ++++++ stars Oh my god this was hot hot hot hot I loved it wow Christian so dark and yummy and naughty but good and Anastasia wow she is good love it.
Great read, I may have to read this one again. On to the next book...
