“All women deserve one movie moment in their life. I truly believe that.”

Sigh. A truer line was never written in my estimation. It’s part of why I love romance in all its forms. I’d seen alot of love for this book throughout my social media, and now, I get it. Ms. Stewart has created a imperfectly lovely book that reads like alot of the great rom coms of the 80s. It’s got the romance and humor, with alot more sex than most mainstream flicks. Basically, everything that I adore.

This sports-romance (baseball) was a hoot-n-hollerin’ good time – a sure-fired grand slam! The cover alone earns big kudos without a doubt! The honor of first place in this year's sports-related romance category for me has most likely been earned here and now.

The amazing all-star performance by a fast pitching, dirty-talking baseball player who meets his match in an unfiltered nerdy flight instructor, suited up with help from a team of additional players who throw some curve balls into the mix,

Cute, weird, desultory story about a woman who moves to Charleston and meets a minor league pitchers and other characters. This was too quirky for me. I wasnt vibing it.

I liked this but not as much as my friends, I just didn't love it. It was OTT at times and the h was pretty stupid but somehow at age 24 an expert flight instructor for Boeing? Yeah I don't think so but this was a nice easy read. It was on KU so can't lose on price! ...more

A great, funny feel good romance!
I found myself laughing out loud at the banter between Rafe and Alice or with Alice's silent thoughts.
Having moved to Florida 12 years ago, Alice's first encounter with a palmetto bug was one of the most hilarious things I have read in so long! I could totally relate!
