2020 Re-read: The one where we take the slut shaming to a new level. But Chace and Faye's romance is still one of my fave KA books, especially the heartbreaking scenes with Miah and his sister. Emotionally, still strong, and I can't listen to Holding Out for a Hero without thinking of this book.

Kristen Ashley has done it again. 5,6,7,8,9, endless Swoon worthy stars!

My heart cried, my ovaries exploded and my eyes leaked a few tears.

Chace is divine and is totally my new book boyfriend, I only wish he could be my real life boyfriend as well!
I loved Faye as well and I'd quite like to be her if I could!
Everything about this book just made me swoon and love and laugh and swoon a bit more.

Chace has got to be one of my favorite heroes, eventhough he was kind of a jerk at the beginning. He really had a way with words, too. When he's being a jerk, he was really a jerk. But when he's being wonderful, he was totally wonderful! I kinda think he's the Mitch of the Colorado Mountain series.

In Faye's case, I don't know if there any other heroines more forthcoming than her. She really didn't know the art of "timing". Honestly, I didn't think there could be such a thing as too much honesty. ...more
