Amy Harmon is a new author for me. But rest assured this will not be the last book of hers I read. I loved The Bird and The Sword so much that I wanted to jump immediately into another book by Ms. Harmon. Her words cascade onto a page like poetry in motion. I will admit I liked the second half of the book better than the first but loved it all just the same. By the second half it was I like I was under a witches spell.
