Too funny!!!

So, to be honest I was a little worried in the beginning. Ian comes off as a cocky, arrogant, douche! But... it didn't take long for me to get used to the way he spoke and then totally fall in love with him!

He was hilarious! Still somewhat douchy... haha but I loved him.

"You're kind of a pig."

"Right, but I'm more like one of those cute little pigs, you know, the teacup ones. Still a pig, but you can't help but want to keep it forever because it's so damn adorable."

3.5 PREDICTABLY PERFECT STARS!

Sweet, funny with that feel good factor. Plain and innocent girl hires hunky player guy to make her childhood friend start noticing that she is a woman and not just one of the guys. Then it's makeover madness and lessons in how to be sexy! Then it's all sorts of funny when player wants a little more from his latest client but can't because of his rules, but hey rules are made to be broken right?

Reading about Ian was interesting. I wanted to dislike him, but I just couldn't make myself feel that way about him or his friend. As a matter of fact, I hope his friend (I'm now drawing a blank on his name, dammit) gets his own book too. It was fun watching Ian slowly transforming into something totally different and he definitely did! It was interesting to watch him fall for Blake without him realizing that's actually what was happening. ...more

The Match Makers Playbook took me on a journey that I wasn't expecting to be on. You know that feeling you get on a roller coaster before it hits the top and than it plunges down a steep incline that takes your breath away. It's a few seconds later that you are able to catch your breath for it to happen all over again. This is how Ian made me feel throughout this book. Ian is a Professional Match Maker that helps woman to get the man of their dreams. Ian and his best friend Lex created this comp ...more
