3 Super sweet, maybe too sweet friends to lovers stars!
Lots of people are probably going to love this. Told from Spencer, the Gentleman Player's POV it certainly had some highlights. There were some funny times and DEFINITELY some sexy times, but I just didn't get vested in Spencer and Charlotte's HEA. For me it was just so "sweet" and predictable. Both MCs were practically perfect, not necessarily in the good way a character can be practically perfect.

I was intrigued by the male POV and Spencer's inner dialog was pretty entertaining as was his banter with friend-to-love-interest Charlotte. I've shelved this as erotic because there is lots of explicit sex, but I didn't actually find it erotic.
Overall, 3-stars, but I'm bumping to 4-stars because I'm not really a rom-con fan, so it's a tribute to the novel that I finished it. ...more

Holy Crap this book was amazing. Simply perfection, Spencer and Charlotte's chemistry was off the charts! If you love the friends to lovers concept then this book is for you. Lauren you did it again, your books keep getting better and better. This book right here is so funny, hot as hell, and will test the bounds of friendship these two characters have for each other.
