This one was good. Loved it in the beginning. However, Roxie and Hank got a bit redundant and monotonous for me in some spots.

Book 1 - Indy & Lee still my FAVORITE!

I liked it. Like all of KAs books I can't put them down so I read to fast and feel like I need to start over when I finish. But this is one book I do not mind re-reading. This is only the 2nd book I have read from this series so I am waaaaaaaaaay excited to keep going. ...more

Hank Nightingale was hotter than hot and faster than Flash! I mean, it took Lee 10 years, Eddie 2 months, him 2 days? Seriously, he didn't waste time! And he sure was not lacking in the confidence department.

I love Hank! Really, really LOVE Hank. He's so hot and sexy. He's gotta be near perfection and I really love Hank (really, I do, he's so COOL, he's HOT).

Roxie was truly Tex's niece, no doubt about that, she was almost as crazy as Tex. High-maintenance and she admitted it to herself. She's ve Hank Nightingale was hotter than hot and faster than Flash! Roxie was truly Tex's niece, no doubt about that, she was almost as crazy as Tex. High-maintenance and she admitted it to herself. She's very girly and I found it funny how she compared things to clothing and make-up brands in her thoughts. IMO, she was the perfect heroine for Hank. They fit.

The gang's still here, still getting larger with the addition of Roxie's friends, Jason and Annette. I find Annette somewhat like the white version of Elvira from the dream man series, she was that crazy. Not to mention Roxie's parents, Herb and Trish. They're so cool, if I didn't love my parents, I would like to be adopted by them. More Marcus exposure here, too. Gotta admit it, love me some "good" bad guys sometimes (especially if they contribute to the hotness level).

This book was packed full with action: kidnapping, hunting, mayhem at the haunted house, shootings and, of course, two of my favorite men, Vance Crowe and Luke Stark.

There were parts in this book where I got a little teary-eyed, too. There was the part when Hank told Roxie he was letting her go after they catch Billy because the last thing he wanted to do was to make her feel trapped. That scene was so sweet, it got to me. I mean, have I already said I love Hank? Then there was Roxie's speech to Billy. Believe it or not, I kinda felt sorry for Billy there. Then I remembered what he did to Roxie when he kidnapped her and I was back to thinking he deserved all that and then some.

I did a lot of grinning reading this, too. Naughty lines from Luke, crazy lines from the gang, Roxie's thoughts, all the teasings, etc. Rock Chick Redemption deserved 5 fun and sparkling stars! ...more

I love Hank and Roxie!

Rock Check redemption is a book filled with laughs and hot alpha males! You just know what you get when you read a Kristen Ashley book. I love them and her writing style.

She just sucks you in and you just need to put all other things on hold until you finish the book. Awesome read...totally worth picking up.
