This disappointed me, a lot. I have never not loved and enjoyed a Mia Sheriden book, but I just felt Becoming Calder didn't really 'go' anyway. I read a lot, but in truth, only a few characters and stories stay with me the way this one will. Currently, I am reading the sec

Mia did an incredible job at creating this world and diving in head first to the world of cults. I felt like I was living in Acadia and could feel the oppression pressing down on me. The idea to place a love story in the midst was outstanding. I adored this story and I'm so happy that Mia decided to write both books at the same time because if I had to wait for the second book I would be extremely upset. ...more
