What a great and heartbreaking story! Be prepared to ugly cry. I can honestly say I've never cried so much reading a book.

This story is not all it seems and takes a serious turn in the second half, although the author provides clues all along the way. It was so well written and most characters so good and admirable, I bought into all the sunshine and promise.
I am not a crier, but I cried buckets. It's a book worth reading for fans of romance and it does have a sequel that I will read. But I've got to wait just a little while. ...more

As I sit here continuously crying and my heart pounding with emotion, I am in complete awe of this book and Kim Holden. For so many reasons this book hits close to home. I cannot express how very much I appreciate the level of love and care that went into every word. To be able express the level of emotion a situation and person like Kate brings to a person is amazing and Kim Holden has done that.
