4.25 RATING- I have to start off by saying that Joanna Wylde is without a doubt a five star writer. One of my favorites to read and I'm always excited to see what's next. That being said, I liked Reapers Stand but I didn't love it.
I liked the beginning and I liked the very end. It's the parts that happened between 60-90% that I wasn't a huge fan of. I just didnt love the story. In my version, London comes clean and comes to Picnic for help. I didn't like the fact that she didn't. I also have a ...more

The fourth book in the Reapers MC series finds the prez, Reese “Picnic” Hayes, falling for his cleaning lady, London Armstrong. Since I do go into spoilers, I’m hiding the majority of the review, except for the bottom line.

Personally, this was the best of the series....
Loved the way the author posted her prologue that was basically a cliff hanger. The details surrounding it are revealed later in the book content but .. damn. Totally ate at me as I read from the start. WHEN would that prologue factor in and why? When it finally came to light. DAMN!!!!!
I kind of feel bad for other authors who write MC themed books because imho this has set the bar. And that bar is pretty high.

I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from Berkley.
I liked this addition to the series better than the one I began with even though I still need to read the first two novels I enjoyed getting to see a peek at some familiar faces from the previous book I have read. I really enjoyed that the characters were taken more seriously this time and that we got more into the not so pleasant realistic factor that comes into an MC involvement. Joanna has done a wonderful job capturing th ...more

I didn't think this could top Hunter and Em's book but I was wrong. This is one wild ride and I pretty much read the last half of the book holding my breath. The MC world of this series still manages to shock me and I love every bit of it. Picnic is hot and did not disappoint. London, well part of me wanted her to get what she had coming to her. TSTL . She redeemed herself though. Loved this. 5 stars

Reese....wasn't really sure about him until this Pic. From previous books I considered him just an old fat man. Nope, not even close.
This is a great story written to include my favorite Reaper, Horse, as well.
While part of the book was predictable I still liked the way it was laid out and the flow was great. It's a must read if you are a fan of this series. ...more
