This author's unique style resonated with me. I found myself being pulled into the story by the characters. The plot could have been a little slow because it was light on drama (thankfully)however I wasn't tempted to skip read at all. So glad I gave this one a try. ...more

I really loved Kulti! Not quite as much as Lingus and The Wall of Winnipeg but still so good. Mariana Zapata's slow burn romances are the best. She really knows how to draw you in and keep you wanting more.

Sal and Kulti definitely didn't seem to be fans of the other at the beginning of the story. Well not the very beginning since Sal was sure she would marry him one day as a kid and had stars in her eyes the first time they met.
