I was first introduced to Hopper ‘Hop’ Kincaid & Elaine ‘Lanie’ Heron in Motorcycle Man (Dream Man Series). Then, I saw glimpses of Hop & Lanie in OTW & I thought it was genius how some parts of Fire Inside were happening coincidently with OTW.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a bummer that this book did not advance the "Benito" story anymore then own the wind did but I did like the return of the more mature characters. Lanie was not my favorite h but she was not my worst either. And I thought Hop was excellent, I enjoyed reading his POV. ...more

Upon reading Fire Inside, I really liked the word complicated. I want COMPLICATED! I want complications in my life the likes Hop and Lanie had. Complicated, complicated, complicated!

I know ever since I've read that Hoppper's getting his own book, and he's being paired up with Lanie, that, like every other KA hero, I would fall in love with him. And I was right!

I know KA would twist the story around so as to give another fantastic and admirable hero, no matter his history. And she really did! Hop ...more

This was a great book. Lanie was damaged and not really looking for love. She knows Hop from the Chaos MC club and has for years. She decides to go for a one night stand/ FWB kind of arrangement that leads to so much more. I highly recommend this book.

Kristen Ashley does not disappoint. Although I do have this feeling that I just want to cry when I am done with one of her books, I never want the story to end.
There really is no reason to say anymore, that pretty much says it all.
