I adore this author. Her books are freaking amazing. She writes flawlessly and creates a beautiful love story that is sexy, steamy and shows the true struggles of life and love. This is the last book in the Marked Men series and I will have to say that I am sad to see it end. This series stuck with me when I first picked up Rule and each new release in this series has been amazing.

Book 6 in this series but can be read as a stand alone. I am sad that is the last book of the Marked men. Now about the book. Asa Cross is starting over. He is struggling to get his life on track. Royal Hastings is dealing with her own struggles in life. Their paths cross and now she can't get him out of her head. Can a longtime criminal and a cop be together? Even if it just seems so wrong . . . but for Asa and Royal, being wrong together is the only right choice to make. ...more
