I was expecting something of

Did I get it? Yes and no, but I was really frustrated.

You know what they say bout expectations though...

And the rant begins

It isn’t that I didn’t like it. But we saw so little of Ben in the other books and what kind of character he had should have been shown a bit more. He is an absolute tosser in this book. He should be christened Ben the Tosser. Has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?

3 stars - this was an okay read. It wasnt as good as any of the others in the series (IMO) which was a bit of a disappointment - after the build up to the mystery that is Ben in the first three books. For me, there just wasnt any chemistry between the two MCs. Especially for the first 60% of the story were the two tried to play the 'let's be friends' game after everyone finds out that they spent a night together and as a result Lizzy ends up pregnant.

It was aiight.

I liked the start of it all but then it kind of just went nowhere for me. I'm still left knowing nothing about Ben besides the fact that he has a beard and commitment issues. I wish I got some insight on what made Lizzy fall so hard for him plus I was expected some majoring 'groveling' especially after he struck out three times! Oh well, we can't always get what we want.

This is the 4th book in the Stage Dive Series and I love this series. The book picks up with Mel and Anne getting together were Lizzy first meets Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. Ben knows that Lizzy is off limits so why can't he stay away from her. Lizzy is Anne's little sister and she has a big crash on Ben, who has been warned to stay away from her.
