The fourth and final Stage Dive book focuses on Ben, the bass player, and Lizzie, Anne’s sister. Lizzie is completely and totally enamored of Ben from the moment she meets him. And then...I normally say romance happens, but really it’s more like an unexpected pregnancy and a relationship kinda happens.

3 stars - this was an okay read. It wasnt as good as any of the others in the series (IMO) which was a bit of a disappointment - after the build up to the mystery that is Ben in the first three books. It was aiight.

I liked the start of it all but then it kind of just went nowhere for me. I'm still left knowing nothing about Ben besides the fact that he has a beard and commitment issues. I wish I got some insight on what made Lizzy fall so hard for him plus I was expected some majoring 'groveling' especially after he struck out three times! Oh well, we can't always get what we want.

Liz has been crushing on bass player Ben since book 2 so I was very excited to finally get their story. Liz really rocked it in the lead role. She was feisty, funny, vulnerable, sensitive, and totally took charge of her unexpected situation. I really admired how the baby's well-being was always first in her thoughts and influenced her actions. Mal and Anne really stepped up as the protective "brother" and sister and Mal as always provided much needed comic relief. Jimmy, Lena, David and Ev all p ...more
