What I liked about Lover Unleashed:

`We get to see that Vishous has a soft side when it comes to his twin sister. A twin that the Scribe Virgin kept from him.

-Payne, being the daughter of The Scribe Virgin and The Bloodletter, has a strong need to fight that resides within her. She busts Ward’s female vampire stereotypes wide open and yet she can be completely feminine, soft and sensual. The Warden did a good job with her character, in my ...more

I’ve had a hard time getting into the Black Dagger Brotherhood books. I feel like I should like them. They have vampires, tortured alpha male heroes and kinky sex. They are really funny. I really, really should like them. Unfortunately, I start them, put them down and then have a hard time getting back into them. They just aren’t my cup of tea. I really couldn’t understand what the BDB fans saw in this series.
